This contemporary kitchen in Woodbridge CT was designed by Dean Sakamoto of New Haven CT to provide the owner with a more open layout. We used concrete counters, MDF fronts and reclaimed cypress for the ceilings & cabinet doors.

This island was built so that large groups renting the client's house on Block Island could gather.

We did not want the kitchen to be cluttered by the presence of a television so we devised this custom pull out. We fabricated the unit with standard hardware from Doug Mockett & Accuride.

We find that building kitchens in New York apartments can be great fun. For this kitchen designed by Ken Krauss we ran the Ash veneer so that the grain was horizontal.

This kitchen sits just above the harbor and provides beautiful views of the Fairfield Country Club golf course. The detailing was kept simple to fit the contemporary style of the home.
